Sync cache clean up: How is logically delete flag set?

Hi All

I have been asking several questions on iOS MBS based apps connecting to SUP 2.1.2 with SAP ECC as backend. The question now is

My users are accessing the iOS app and building up the cache every day (I can see it in SCC). What is important to note is that I am working on a cache group policy interval of 0 which means I get real time data on to the device. My business scenario states that any data older than a day is stale. So the CDB containing data that does not belong to today is stale. How do I delete this data from CDB automatically or maually?

I see there is a Sync cache clean up scheduling option, does it help? If I look at the cache group of the my MBO package it shows the total number of rows and active count as well. The logical deleted rows is always 0. There is a purge button in the SCC in the same place which removes only the logically deleted records. How do I tell CDB that a day old data should be set logically deleted in my case? or how do I set cache expiry? I see the inactive day option for subscription clean up but not for sync clean up. How do I get this done?

Regards

LNV
