Operation short text not updating in Work Manager 6.2

Hi Experts,

When I am trying to edit the operation short text from device, it is not updating to ECC. The value has been passed from front end to java and from java to bapi,but transaction commit is not executing.Kindly suggest if there are any setting to be done in config panel.When I am adding new operation, every thing is working fine.
