Reg: Error in Custom App

Hi All,




 

 

Following error is getting displayed in the custom configured app while running in the browser.

Problem in Agentry search

Hi All,

 

When I am trying to search the work orders in IPAD using  the search bar, the text and the back ground of the search bar are in black color.

As a result of that I could not able to see the text what I have entered.

Could any one please suggest why this is happening.

FIORI: Requisition Approval application: Error

Hello,

 

I had activated 5-6 standard applications as per the procedure given by SAP and all worked fine. In case of 'Requisition Approval' application, we followed the same procedure as mentioned below, but getting error:

 

1) Installed the frontend (UIX01EAP 100 & SP 03) and backend (GBAPP 002 600 & SP 06) components on the system.

 

2) Implemented SAP suggested note 1937868, along with child notes 2036920, 2034767, 2030525 and 2038660.

 

3) Activated OData service 'gbapp_prapproval (1)'  from tcode '/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE' , but some TADIR execption occurred. So had to manually add the system alias for that service and activate the ICF node. After this when I checked the service in catalog, first column 'Type' was blank and not having value 'BEP' as it is mentioned for other application's services activated by me.

4) Activated UI5 application service 'MM_PR_APV' from tcode SICF under node 'UI5_UI5'.

 

5) Now in transaction code PFCG, when we are adding the OData service (activated in step 3) in the business role, the service is not showing in the search help list and we are not able to add the application in the launchpad.

 

Even I tried to delete the service and activate it again from tcode '/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE', but I am getting error saying 'Exception occurred while TADIR processing' (Message No. /IWFND/MED200).

 

Now, I am hung in between. Please suggest how we can resolve this.

SAP Work Manager 6 - WPF Client & ATE Error

Hi,

I have installed SMP 2.3 SP03 L01 and have deployed the Work Manager 6 application on the server. My Agentry.ini and JavaBE.ini files seem okay. Self-Signed certificates were used properly as mentioned in the guides. connectTest.bat executes correctly, thus showing SAP backend information. The Work Manager agentry application starts correctly from SMP.

 

However, now that i want to test the application, I'm unable to connect to the server. The WPF and ATE errors are as below:

HTTP status 500( Internal Server Error):Extending Fiori App in Eclipse with Tomcat Server(locally)

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to run a Extending Fiori App (CRM My Opportunities) in Eclipse with Tomcat.

I have configured and followed the steps until p52  from the Fiori Guide(How to Extend Fiori Applications)

 

When I tried to test Opportunity App, I can't  getting Opportunity List

There is a error HTTP status 500( Internal Server Error) .

What is wrong?

 

-My TEST Environment-

Frontend server: NW731

CRM Backend: CRM 7.0 EhP2

Components: UIX02CRM SP01 and GBX02CRM SP01 Downport app

Development Tool:Eclipse Version: Juno Service Release 2 Build id: 20130225-0426

Eclipse plugin:SAP NetWeaver Gateway Productivity Accelerator (GWPA),UI Development Toolkit for HTML5,Fiori Toolkit

Special Stock Indicator field becoming mandatory in the Edit screen of Bin to Bin Transfer.

Hi Everyone,

 

I am working on SAPIM 4.0. Their is one  issue which I noticed when I was testing the application for the Transfer Process.

I am trying to create a TO from the application by clicking on the Add button and I create a TO without selecting values for the Special Stock indicator.After a local record is created I click on the Edit button from the list screen of Items Tab of Transfer Process,I could find that the special Stock Indicator becomes mandatory,ie I get a message that. 'Special Stock Indicator' is required, for which I never selected or gave input values during creation of TO.

 

Below are my findings.

No validation rule is created or applied for special Stock Indicator.

Same screen is called for both Add and Edit operations.(Warehousetransferorderitemadd)

Action for add is warehousetransferoderitemadd and for edit it's warehousetransferoderitemedit.

Transaction is Warehousetransferorderitemadd for add and warehousetransferorderitemedit for edit.


Please help me since I am not able to find a solution for this.

I get the below error when I try to execure SAP Fiori Launchpad Designer through SPRO.

 

 

Error (404, Not Found) in OData response for GET "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/TRANSPORT/CustomizingRequests?$filter=isDefaultRequest%20eq%20true": HTTP request failed

 

Appreciate if you could help with this issue.

FIORI: Standard Accounting/Fiancial applications not dependent on HANA

Hello,

 

I would like to understand term 'SAP Fiori System Landscape Option' which is mentioned at the top of any application implementation document available in help.sap.com.

 

1) When I checked a logistic application 'Track Purchase Order', there were three values for 'SAP Fiori System Landscape Option' as mentioned below;

 

- Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape with ABAP Environment

  Based on SAP enhancement package 7 of SAP ERP 6.0 also possible:


- Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape with SAP HANA Database

- Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape with SAP HANA XS

 

 

2) And when I checked an Accounting(Financial) application 'Customer Accounting Document', there were only two values for 'SAP Fiori System Landscape Option' as mentioned below;

 

- Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape with SAP HANA Database

- Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape with SAP HANA XS

 

 

Does it means that the 'Track Purchase Order' can be implemented with SAP ERP 6.0, but Customer Accounting Document' application specifically needs HANA and cannot be implemented without that.

 

I need to understand this, because I am looking for any Accounting(Financial) application which can be implemented without HANA, as our client doesn't has HANA.

We currently have two systems installed SUP (DEV and PRD) and Sybase Afaria 7.0, and have found several problems related to SUP license system.

So my questions are:

 

How can I see if I have or not bought the permanent license for SUP?

In the case of not having the license:

What is the procedure to purchase and download a permanent license.?

Validation rule in PI count screen in SAP IM 3.2

Hi,

 

We have our PI count screen as below. In case of Non-Serialized material, When user enters count quantity in TxQty and click on confirm checkbox BsQty gets updated with TxQty. I have created one validation rule which compares the BsQTY and SOH. If there is any difference a warning has to be thrown. In case of Non - Serialized Material, my validation rules if working properly. But in case of Serialized Material, I am getting the warning message twice.

What the changes I have to make to my validation rule, so that it will show warning message only once in both Serialized Material and Non - Serialized Materials cases.

Hi,

 

I want to customize login page of fiori launchpad of fiori wave2

Have found that this is possible creating login.properties file.

 

Referred links:-Login page for custom sapui5 applications

 

Referred the configuration guide mention in link https://help.sap.com/saphelp_fiori/fiori10_extend_en.pdf and even more links attach.

 

But have also read that adding file does not reflect changes rather gives out with an

 

BSP error:

 

Business Server Page (BSP) error

 

 

Image of logon page can be change through replace of image in below path.

Go in se80 transaction and MIME repository.

Under SAP>Public>BC>UI2>login>img >

 

The above solution provide for launchpage.

 

 

But need some example of customizing above shown login page by creating either login.properties file or some other exact completely performed solution???

Is there any user manual for step by step operations of transaction apps.  We get to know it only after app download and configuration and testing. It would be better if I know How to use App / User manual information with all screenshots pertaining to each App generally used for demonstration of entire process.

SAP Inventory Manager 4.0 installation problems

I am having problems when trying to install the new version of Inv Manager 4.0 on windows server 2008.  The installation is performed by first installing and patching to latest release an SMP 3.0 server, followed by an installation of the SAP Inventory Manager 4.0.0 Deployment exe file.  That installation runs without any errors but no app is visible on the SMP, no folders or shortcuts or other indications are visible that it was successful.  Also very strange is that according to the installation guide there are some steps (1-6) which I cannot see, my install runs jumps directly from step 3 step nr. 7 (serial numbers, install type, keys are all missing or not requested by the installation for some reason).  I have installed this on 4 different servers/PC´s where at least 2 of those were totally fresh systems that didn´t have any previous installation of either Agentry or SMP.  The prerequisites are met (java, jco etc) but what puzzles me the most is that I don´t see any logs or error messages.

Afaria - HWC app add configuration

Hello

 

I have been attempting to add configuration to a HWC app that is being deployed using Afaria.

 

I want to fill the  HWC app settings in the general section of the ipad settings (to save the user time).

 

I have tried unsuccessfully a few different ways.

 

So to begin with all I want to do is add server name, server port, farmid, protocol and url suffix.

 

The application policy has a configuration tab, there are 2 sections to the configuration tab

 

Managed App Configuration

Afaria Library

 

What is the difference between the 2? I found some documentation but is does not explain it well.

 

Below is the last thing I tried, but I also tried populating the Managed App Configuration section and then I tried semi colon delimited etc.

SMP 3.0 OpenUI Android

Hi all,

 

I have the WorkManager 6.1 client running on a SMP 3.0 SP4 server. All works as expected.

For a custom development I add a new 'Object' screenset (Name: CustDev) which has one 'Tile Edit' field and one 'Tile Display field.

On the 'Tile Display' screenset I put a button and when clicked, it opens a 'Transaction' screenset.


On the transaction screen there is an openUI component (StringEditAdapter) which displays an image.

Clicking on an area on this image will put a value in the string field with the method    _model.processInput('String').

So far so good.


Now my problem/challenge

After I put the value in the field with the processInput method (which is correct) I want to save the transaction and refresh the 'CustDev'screen.


How can I achieve that.

afaria 7 sms gateway

i try to set up sms gateway after copy dll into afaria\bin\smsgateway and put smsgateway path in enviroment but i have ONS4000: Invalid configuration message into log events and service doesn't start.

is there some one that could explain how i have to configure sms gateway?

please, is it possible to have an example of sms gateway configuration?

sms gateway is on optional component to admin device using afaria or not?

Fiori Launchpad Error: Failure - Unable to load groups Resolved!!!!

Hey Good Fellas,

 

This is a solution rather than a discussion, which i thought to do to with a kind generosity of spirit to give back to the community.

It gives me immense pleasure and happiness to write this particular post, because it is through SCN only i have been able to find the solution.

 

Ok, let's get down to the Business quickly, shall we?

 

I have been configuring Fiori App - Approve Purchase Orders. All the tasks for this have been done from SAP Help Site.

Recently I upgraded the ERP/Gateway (Its an embedded deployment) to EHP 7 and UI to SP09, post which the Fiori Launchpad started giving the below error.

If you look around the SCN, you will probably hit across these threads and so did I.

With the first thread, I tried everyone's solution and suggestions which had worked for others, but it didn't for me.

 

With second thread (Excellently posted by Masayuki Sekihara), it started off with lots of efforts and double-checks applying all of these notes hoping that it would resolve the issue. But I had done all the steps 1-8 and still didn't get the solution.

 

Besides the above two mentions I did umpteen number of other ridiculous things like implementing this note, that note, De-implementing another of the notes and everything i found as possible solutions on the Web.

 

Now, the breakthrough here is checking the errors in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG. Well, on the browser it used to give error 'Failure - Unable to Load Groups' while at the server side, actual error was something unusual and remotely not related to what the error looked like in the browser. In the back-end, I was getting the error "Data Provider implementation 'ZINTEROP_MODEL_0001_BE' '01' 'DEFAULT' does not exist". And this is something i know how to correct.

 

So just keep looking for the errors in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG and shift your focus there. That's really a good place to trouble-shoot.

 

And for the record to take care of the error 'Data Provider implementation 'ZINTEROP_MODEL_0001_BE' '01' 'DEFAULT' does not exist' you have to assign the DPC (Data Provider Class) to DMC (Data Modelling Class) correctly by navigating to IMG - SAP Netweaver - Gateway - Former Development - Local OData Channel Development - Registration - Assign Data Provider to Data Model. There you define the Data provider with the correct Software Version and Voila you are all set! You don't have to worry about the duplicate entry with another Software version, your correct software version is the one you have defined in the System Alias which you are using inside the service, which is generally DEFAULT.

 

I am able to get inside the Fiori Launchpad now (I was quite at edge to really give up as all the possible solutions had been ruled out for me ) and do see the tiles of the apps configured.

 

 

I hope this is going to be a good take-away for others who are having Odata handling issues.

Download Document for SAP Work Manager 6.0

Hi All,

 

I am running Work Manager 6 on SMP 2.3,

Agentry Client :v6.1.3.10200

Device OS : Windows 7 Tablet

 

Issue :When i click on Download icon for any work order attachment, transmit pops up but i cannot find my document to be downloaded.

 

Tried :I have configured application as per SAP Notes  1996731,1964214

Triggered push event to client as per SAP Note 2009408

 

 

My Editor settings for External data are as below screen shot.
