Work Manager 6.0 deployment issue on SMP2.3
Hi experts,
I am trying to deploy Work Manager 6.0 to SMP 2.3 SP03 PL01.
I encountered message "RUNNING_WITHOUT_METADATA" on SCC after deploying Work Manager zip file.
Steps I made were following
These were based on "Work Manager Installation Guide 6.0".
1) Extract SAPWorkMgr600Deploymentx64.zip and rename folder name as WM600.
2) Create Self-Signed Certificate AgentryServer.pfx by using Open SSL command as follows
Authentication Certificate Creation for Agentry > Creating a Self-Signed Certificate Using OpenSSL
openssl req -x509 -days 3650 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout server-key.pem -out server-cert.pem
openssl pkcs12 -export -in server-cert.pem -inkey server-key.pem -out AgentryServer.pfx
3) Copy AgentryServer.pfx file into WM600 folder.
4) Execute configuration tool SAPWorkMgr600ConfigTool.exe to WM600 folder
5) Confirm connection to ERP by running connectTest.bat in WM600 folder
6) Enter password for authentication certificate and service user by using encryptPW.bat tool as follows
encryptPW Agentry.ini "Server Administration" authenticationCertificateStorePassword <myPassword>
encryptPW JavaBE.ini SERVICE_LOGON UPASSWORD <myPassword>
encryptPW JavaBE.ini PUSH_LOGON UPASSWORD <myPassword>
7) zip WM600 folder
8) Define agentry application and deploy WM.zip file
Could you give me advise to solve this issue.

upgradation from WM5.3 to WM6.2
Hello Experts,
I am trying to upgrade from work manager 5.3 to Work Manager 6.2 on SMP 3.0.In our work manager so many customization exists.
so when I am trying to upgrade I found few difficulties like
com.syclo.sap.AgentryObject, com.syclo.sap.Property, Repossitory classes are used in the customization which exists in WM5.3 and these same classes doesn't exists .So what are the replacement for these classes.
Please help me out.

How to integrate ESRI on the Agentry application?
Hi All,
We're trying to implement ESRI with Android agentry clients 7.05 (SMP3.0 SP5 PL1), all the information that we can find is the one in the note: 1982598 - GIS Integration Support for Mobile AddOn 6.10 but we did not find information or a guide that list the requirements(other than the ones in the note) with customization on a step by step instructions, like the one mentioned by "Stephen Kringas" or even like this post.
Can you help us with this? Is there a step by step for android on how to integrate the esri on the agentry client?

SAP Fiori can't login
Hi,
I follow this article to setup and configure SAP Fiori.
Fiori: technical installation and configuration of one app from A - Z
But I meet some strange issue.
I create RFC Destination KSCCLNT001
But when I try to login Fiori Launchpad Designer via:
http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html
It shows fails error as below.
And also try to login launchpad but I can't find mycontact app. Anyone knows this kind of issue?

FIORI configuration and installation
Hi Team/ Experts,
We have installed a NETWEVER System 7.31 for FIORI forntend.
Now while installing the addons for NETWEAVER GATEWAY 2.0 , we hanged on WEBCUIF software componenet instalaltion through SAINT.
The installation is going very long , since last 28 hours.
Could some body please help us here ?
SYSTEM : SAP NETWEAVER 7.31
OS : WINDOWS 2008
DB : ORACLE 11G

Show Work Orders of other user on WorkManager
Hi.
I need to show in Work Manager a list of work orders like the standard app, but in this case, I need to show for different users.
For example, user A is logged in, he will see orders for B, C, D and E.
For your understanding, as a business process, this is a kind of view for managers, if the user connected is a manager, he will be able to see more than 1 user orders.
I couldn't find a BADI for this, neither a filter on the configpanel to configure this behavior.
I would prefer to not modify the Java code as a preference.
Did someone made something like these before?

SAP Agentry Inventory Manager Installation Woes
Hi all,
I'm trying to install Inventory Manager 4.1 on SMP 3.0 Server (SP05 latest patches) on Windows Server 2012. I'm following the instruction in the installation guide but the application isn't installing. After running SAPInventoryMgr410Deployment.exe all I get in the configuration\app name folder is an Agentry.ini file and a ClientTextBase.ini file.
I've created the app in the management cockpit prior to running the deployment executable. I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong or what.
I've tried to install the app on my Windows 7 Enterpise PC as well but I get the same result.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
As an aside, the formatting of the Agentry.ini file is all messed up with everything running together. I saw the same issue with the SAP Work Manager 6.2 app after installation, but that install added all of the application files in the configuration directory. The ClientTextBase.ini file looks OK.

as suggested by Bill Froelich I'm opening this Discussion because I noticed that there are a lot of tutorials and step-by-step guides to run Work Manager on SMP (e.g. here: Work Manager 6.0 deployment issue on SMP2.3). Even the SAP Enterprise Support Academy – Learning Studio provides a video named "

[By the way: The deployment in the video is totally different from the step-by-step-guide provided in the other discussion!]
The thing is I could not find any Tutorial/Step-by-Step-Guide/Video for deploying the Service Manager on SMP (for iOS)!
In my opinion the InstallGuide is incomprehensive and not very helpful.
Has anyone of you a Service Manager 4.0 up and running on SMP 2.3 (SP5) for iOS-Device and can provide a Tutorial/Step-By-Step-Guide/Video whatever? This would not be very helpful to me but also to many other people around here since I didn't find any yet.

Agentry android client 70.6.0.7 navigation issue from edit transaction screen
Hi;
We have a custom application that we have imported into SMP 3.0 SP5 and are using the agentry android client version 70.6.0.7.
We are experiencing a navigation issue when navigation from an edit transaction screen back to the tile list. Some how the client seems to
be getting lost after doing an edit task and clicking "Save & Back" to return to the previous screen. Implementing a navigation step and list selection step seems to make matters worse and crashes the client after clicking the wizard button "Save & Back". The android version is 4.2.2.
Please see below series of screenshots for a clear understanding:

You click start and this enables the right hand side tile list for clicking, clicking on the first item, enables it for editing on the below edit transaction screen:

The item is edited and you click on the transaction wizard button "Save & Back" and somehow the client gets confused and displays the below screen, instead of displaying the tile list screen shown as screen 1 above :

Using a navigation step after the edit transaction step does not resolve this, instead the client crashes after clicking on "Save & Back". Would this be client issue or this could be an implementation error on the agentry config? I'm inclined it being a client issue, as this works perfectly on previous agentry client versions.

Customer List is not coming in Fiori Create Sales Order App
Hello experts,
I implemented SAP Fiori Create Sales Order App, it is working fine.But i don't know what happens suddenly i am not able to change the customers list in my change customer icon.
when i select that icon it is displaying a message like "No data found".
Please suggest the way to resolve this problem.

How to remove "Save as Tile"/ Share icon from standard Fiori Applications?
Hi Experts,
I need to remove "Save as Tile" option from all the views from my standard Fiori application "My Timesheet".
Please guide me how can I achieve it.
Because with this option available, when users click on "Save as Tile", a Weekly Tile is created in the launchpad which behaves inappropriately.. i.e.
Even after the whole week is approved, it still allows users to enter new entries.
Customisations do not take effect in such a tile. Please let me know how to disable/remove it.

SMP3.0 SP5/WM6.2: Initial Sync is taking long

I'm syncing the app (unsing ATE) but it take very long time even for the CT that has just couple of entries. No visible error in the log. Any leads what may cause the issue?

Onboarding users in smp 3.0 failed
Hi
I've been following the Claudia Pacheco's How To... On-board users with SMP 3.0 OData API (Android) guide. I'm sure I'm doing everything just as the guide says, the error I'm getting is:
Whe I debug the project I realize that are 2 lines (user and pass) that are never getting filled. The 2 lines are:
try{ lgCtx.setBackendUser(usernameEdit.getText().toString()); lgCtx.setBackendPassword(passwordEdit.getText().toString());
} catch (LogonCoreException e){ //Notifies the execution finished wasSuccessful = false; Log.e(TAG, "error entering user credentials", e);
}Despite the app enters to the "try", they never get filled. I don't know if that may be the source of the error. The ping from the Management Cockpit to the back-end url is successful.
Hope someone can help me, I've been dealing with this error for one day.

Kapsel Offline vs SAAP
Hi,
I recently went through this report Bridging the Offshore data gap . This introduced me to SAAP(SAP Always Available Platform) which delivers offline capabilities to our applications. I tried to find some other information available on SAAP but no luck so far.
As we already have kapsel offline plugins to build offline scenarios, I would like to know your inputs on how SAAP is different with kapsel offline.

How to customize screen in agentry
Hi Experts,
I am new to SMP, I would require some support for a requirement.
We are using SMP 3.0 SP03 and now upgrading to SP05 PL01 level and workmanager 6.1 & iphone as end client.
We already have app to create notification & deployed in production and users are utilizing it.
Now, I need to customize the screen to add drop down values of workcenter.
Can any one please suggest what all things i need to do and development procedure.

Agentry Android Clients Not Working on Android 5.0
Hi,
After updating Android devices to Android 5.0 software version, Agentry Android Clients not working. It opens login screen and after login information is entered client shuts down itself without giving any error message. This is very bad situation for us because our applications not working for Android 5.0 devices on our production servers.

Work Manager 6.0 Push Notification not working
Hi All,
I have configured Standard Work Manager 6.0 application and now I am trying to configure Work Manager 6.0 Push Notification.
I have completed all Post Installation(optional and required) which are mentioned in Standard product document.
I am getting new entries in /SYCLO/PSH01 and /SYCLO/PSH02. After that Agentry server is also calling /SYCLO/PM_DOPUSHWORKORDER_GET Function Module. My problem is still I am not getting push notification message.
When I went to Syclo Admin panel, status of the push notification is also NEW.
I have configured 8282 port in [HTTPXML-2] section of Agentry,ini and Syclo Config panel outbound trigger.
Kindly let me know what can be an issue?
