Fiori Extension - Std service getting called

Hi,

 

I have extended a Fiori application(My Quality tasks) and also have created a new service redefining the std service. Also in my UI5 extension I have changed the component.js file to use my new service. The application is running on the new service for all OData calls except for one call(opening the attachment) for which alone its still using the std. service instead of my new service.

 

This std. service is being referred from the component-preload.js file. Should I change this also ?

SMP 3.0 SP5 SAP Gateway Cockpit Login Problem

Hiiiiiiiiiiii..

 

We have successfully installed SMP 3.0 SP5 with Production environment using MS SQL 2012 db. After installation we can see two thing i.e. SAP Management Cockpit  and SAP Gateway Cockpit.

 

We are able to login with SAP Management Cockpit using user ID smpAdmin. but when we try to login with SAP Gateway Cockpit using same user id i.e smpAdmin, it says 'User Name or Password Incorrect. Please provide the correct Credentials'. We have also tried with user ID smpServiceUser but gives same error.

 

Here we are not really sure which user id Gateway is asking for. or whether it is the problem with Password. Need some suggestion on this. Please assist.

Error on Installation SAP Fiori

I'm installing SAP Fiori "FIORI ERP APPLICATIONS X1 1.0", but the first component (GBAPP002) throws me an error because the component IW_BEP is not installed.  The Help Portal documentation says its not used.


The component IW_BEP is necessary?

 

Somebody have some components list in detail?

HI,

 

While activating OData service for fiori application  in Gateway system we are getting " Service was created but its Meta data could not be loaded " warning.

After this when we are trying to excute url in maintain  IWFND/maint_service transaction it is giving error as bellow...

How to attach custom workflow to approve button on UI5 ?

Hi Team,

 

I'm developing an UI5 application and I'm new to this. I created a workflow of my own as per the client requirement, now I want to attach that workflow to the approve button on UI5.The workflow should get triggered as the manager clicks on the approve button, can somebody please help me with the steps to do that ?

Language mismatch in SAP Fiori

Hi,

 

we are implementing SAP Fiori in a  productive environment and are facing a problem regarding the translations of the texts.

 

What happens:

If a user logs in with german language selected in the Fiori launchpad evenerything runs fine. After loging out and then logging in with another language - for example english - the texts for the group-category is still in german but the rest of the texts an the apps itself are in english. When i look into the translations in transaction PFCG for the group everything is translated. The too happens in the opposite direction, if the user uses english as first logoin-language and later switches to german: Then all is in german besides the group-label, which is still in english...

We are using an embedded setup but the problem occurs the same way in an central hub setup for another customer.

Since we are using an embedded setup the problem cant occur because of language maintained in the RFC-Connection.

 

Anyone has faced the same problem yet and got a solution?

Moving transports to Quality system, SAP FIORI

We are moving our transports to Quality system and is there any manual activities to be done directly in Quality system. Only thing which I remember to do manually in respective systems are below, please correct me if I am wrong

 

1. Maintain System Aliases

2. Activate and Maintain Services

 

Or can we do both things in Dev system and move the same to Quality & Production.

Work Manager 6.0 Push Notification not working

Hi All,

 

I have configured Standard Work Manager 6.0 application and now I am trying to configure Work Manager 6.0 Push Notification.

I have completed all Post Installation(optional and required) which are mentioned in Standard product document.

 

I am getting new entries in /SYCLO/PSH01 and /SYCLO/PSH02. After that Agentry server is also calling /SYCLO/PM_DOPUSHWORKORDER_GET Function Module. My problem is still I am not getting push notification message.

 

When I went to Syclo Admin panel, status of the push notification is also NEW.

I have configured 8282 port in [HTTPXML-2] section of Agentry,ini and Syclo Config panel outbound trigger.

 

Kindly let me know what can be an issue?

Stock data in Syclo 4.2 Service Manager App

Hi Experts,

 

We upgraded from Syclo 3.1 to Syclo 4.2 recently and we are facing issues in bringing the Stock Data from ECC in Service Manager App. Stock Data is not showing up in Agentry. We have mapped the Business Partner with Plant and Storage Location in OFIC Table and business partner is assigned to a Service org in PPOMA_CRM . When I login I could not see any Stock data associated with that Service Engineer

 

Can somebody please guide me what I am missing?

URGENT Approve Requisition - Fiori APP makes wrong GW call - Note 2002955 is not released!

Hi everybody, hi Masa :-),

 

for a customer demo on Tuesday Morning we need the Fiori APP APPROVE Requisition, this is the main business case for the customer to use Fiori!

 

We made the configuration in the BackEnd so we have WorkItem in the inbox! We installed the app UI (GW) but there is a error when starting the APP

The note 2002955 is mentioned in the installation Guide for the APP - this Note is not released!!

1. Do you know if this is solving the problem?

2. When will it be released? --> can you sned the note to use??

3. Is there a other way to fix this problem - is there an mistake we made?

Fiori UI component and oData Component SP level

Hi Experts,

 

I want to know how to check what should be the SP level of UI component in gateway server corresponding to back end component.

 

For example if GBSRM001 is at XX SP level and SRMNXP01 at YY level then what should be SP level of UIX01SRM in gateway server.

 

We know we can go for latest version of both UI and oData component but if these components on latest level then how to check compatibility.

Agentry Android Clients Not Working on Android 5.0

Hi,

 

After updating Android devices to Android 5.0 software version, Agentry Android Clients not working. It opens login screen and after login information is entered client shuts down itself without giving any error message. This is very bad situation for us because our applications not working for Android 5.0 devices on our production servers.

Inspection Rounds in Work Manager 6.0

Hi all,

 

We've setup Work Manager 6.0 running on SMP2.3.  One of the functions that I'd like to get working is inspection rounds.

 

We have

  • Configued the standard order type PM01 to be an inspection rounds order in the work order MDO filter INSP_ORDER_TYPE.
  • Assigned a measurement point PRT to the order operation.
  • Added an Equipment number to the order operation.

 

In work manager I am able to access the PRT screen from the Work Order Detail PRT link.  In that screen I can see the buttons for Tools, Inspection Types, Measuring Points, and Attachments.  In all my testing I've never seen a Measurement Point under the Measurement Point selection.

 

When I've checked the data structure in the Agentry Test Environment the measurement point entries come up in the PRT section under the Operation section.  They are missing any value in the RecordID field.  Other PRT types have this information filled and I assume that it provides the link to the measurement point information downloaded for the functional location and equipment data structures under the operation structure.

 

Inspection Rounds are working fine in the back end using standard confirmation transaction iw42.

 

Any suggestions?

Unlinking Devices from Afaria Device Management

Hi there

 

I have a question concerning device Management using Afaria 7 SP5 on Premise.

 

We have several devices under Management that have been enrolled to Afaria for corporate device Management.

Let's say a Person is leaving the Company and keeps a device that is under Afaria Management.

Is there a possibility to get the device completely out of Management, reverting changes on the device made by Afaria policies and enrollment without losing private data on the phone?

When I try to Unapprove, unlink or delete a device from the device list, I see that i can't push new policies or apps to the device, but Settings that have already been pushed to the device before unlinking or removing the device seem to stay.

That means, I can't even uninstall afaria or remove Afaria from the Device-Administrators (our Company policy prohibits this), even though the device has been unlinked, unapproved or removed from the device list...

 

Do I have to reset the device and wipe all data? Or is there another possibility that I didn't find yet?

 

The Goal: When an employee is leaving the Company and there is a deal that the Person can Keep the device for private use, I want Afaria to roll back device Management, remove corporate apps, remove Settings constraints, remove app restrictions (black/whitelisting), a.s.o. Private data already on the device and private apps should be untouched and be useable as before.

 

Do you see a solution for this?

Localization issue: ApplicationText override every transmit

Three files were translated for localization. GlobalText, ClientText and ApplicationText.

 

With former two everything is ok, but the ApplicationText gets overwritten Every Synchronization, which reduces the performance. What to check, where to look for the problem?

 

First clean SYNC:
